“How do young people in Australia feel about climate changed futures and how does this affect their social interactions?”

Phase One.

The first part of Climate Emotions Project includes a national scoping survey of 15 – 19-year-olds living in Australia. This survey will help us understand how young people in Australia are feeling about climate change, how this impacts their social interactions and how they feel about the future. Click here to participate.

Phase Two.

The second part of Climate Emotions Project will involve activity-based and group research. Follow the project on Instagram or Twitter for future announcements on how to participate in this research phase.

About the researcher

My name’s Charlotte (she/her). I am an explorer, problem solver, and researcher. I am also a social scientist, fascinated by the interactions between nature and society.

I grew up and currently live in lutruwita (Tasmania). I studied a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) in Sociology, Geography, International Relations and Psychology at the University of Tasmania. My previous research has looked at the ongoing social significance of emotions in educational experiences of climate change.

I am currently working on my PhD with the School of Geography, Planning and Spatial Science at the University of Tasmania (this project!) and I am a 2021 Future Leader Scholar.

I would love to hear from you! You can contact me by email or find me on Twitter, LinkedIn or Google Scholar.
